My husband and I have worked with Kay Crowson Rasoletti on a wide range of projects over the past 10 years including several projects in our former Cape Cod home. The most recent project, however, was a remodel of the living room in our urban condo. Kay developed a design plan and then helped us select art, rugs, a new sectional, and fabric for throw pillows and chair re-upholstery. She used a variety of methods to help us finalize decisions. She referred us to specific retailers and wholesalers (eg. Art work), brought samples (eg. fabric) to our home and she met us at suppliers (eg.rugs). She was on site to arrange the final touches including specific guidance on how to hang our pictures and artwork. I have been impressed with Kay's design range over the years from traditional to contemporary. In addition to Kay's impeccable taste, I have appreciated her practicality and sensitivity to cost. The process of working with Kay is a pleasure and we are thrilled with the results. I wholeheartedly recommend Kay Crowson Rasoletti.

Kay really paid great attention to what I was hoping to find for the dominant fabric in our two room project. This was the main theme that wove the master bedroom and reading room together. Once we found the desired fabric (which I still love equally as much a few years later), the rest fell into place so easily with Kay's great suggestions and "eye" for details and accessories. It turned into a lovely retreat for my husband and I, and still looks soft and nicely updated after a few years. The cost was slightly more, as we added an electric fireplace to be installed in the middle of our existing built-in bookcase, but we are happy to have added that. Even though the project took longer to be completed, we were very satisfied with the final results.

I was in the final stages of decorating my house and got stuck when it was time to do the formal living room and needed advice. I had certain elements such as a fire place, family antiques and and green chairs that I wanted to incorporate and couldn't figure it out. I spent hours talking to other decorators and none seemed to care because my "job" was small and mostly consulting work.

Working with Kay was the opposite experience. She visited my house one time (I'm in Wisconsin) and over the phone and web she solved and guided me through paint, carpet, trim, furniture, accents and placement. It was just like magic how fast and perfectly everything just fell into place.

Kay saw my room with a clear vision and had wonderful ideas that never occurred to me. She embraced working with certain things I already owned and wrapped everything up into a lovely room. Thank you Kay!
